Dublin Port and Guinness Storehouse are a must-visit if you're looking for something fun to do. The Port is where all the action happens, with ships coming and going, while the Storehouse is where you can learn all about the history and making of Guinness. Both places are worth checking out and are sure to keep the whole family entertained.
For dads, it would be great to have a play area for the kids.

The overall feel and decor was mind-blowing, creating a super cozy holiday home atmosphere. Easy access to everything, perfect location for peace and quiet, yet close enough to the city. The cleanliness and tidy environment, along with the abundance of cutlery and kitchen utensils, made our stay jaw-droppingly convenient. The proximity to the train station, warm floor heating, comfy and spotless bathroom and bedroom, and the huge kitchen with an open floor plan connecting to the lounge and dining area were absolutely amazing. Being so close to shops and transport links, as well as the warm and welcoming ambiance, made us feel right at home.

We had a blast exploring Dublin Port and the Guinness Storehouse. The industrial vibes at the port were intense, and we even got to see some massive ships up close. And the Storehouse - talk about a beer lover's paradise! The interactive exhibits and the Gravity Bar with its stunning views made it the ultimate hangout spot. It was a party for our taste buds!
If I had to suggest one thing for an even better time, it would be awesome if the cottage had a designated game room. Imagine having a place to play pool, air hockey, and video games with your friends after a long day of adventures.

The apartment at Killester Self Catering Cottage was absolutely cozy and inviting, making us feel right at home. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the terrace offered stunning garden views. The fully equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise, with a fridge, microwave, and dishwasher, making our cooking experience hassle-free. The flat-screen TV in the apartment was a great addition for entertainment purposes, ensuring that we had a relaxing time after a long day of exploring Dublin. The provided bed linen and towels were clean and of good quality, enhancing our overall stay at the cottage.
Personally, I would have preferred a shower instead of a bathtub in the bathroom. However, I understand that others might enjoy a nice soak in the tub.

The location of the property is ideal, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and conveniently close to the BART station, making transportation easy. Staying in a house with a communal area instead of a hotel bar was great for our group.
Felt like royalty, no complaint.
